North Kamloops

North Kamloops is a neighbourhood located immediately northwest of downtown Kamloops. The area offers larger lot sizes and is considered one of the original communities of the city. Residents can often be found enjoying the “Rivers Trail” which is a mostly paved pathway that follows the South and North Thompson River from Downtown over to Westsyde. With two large grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance of the residential areas, the community offers a convenient lifestyle for those who wish to call the North Shore their home.

SCHOOLS

Primary students may attend one of many elementary schools that are in the area; A E Perry Elementary, Bert Edwards Science and Technology School, Arthur Hatton Elementary. Students in Gr 7-9 attend Brock Middle School which shares a field with Kay Bingham.  Secondary students attend Norkam Secondary School which offers a Trades and Technology program thanks to their partnership with Thompson Rivers University.
