McLure/Vinsula

The Vinsula and McLure area is located about 25 minutes North of the City of Kamloops. Following the Southern Yellowhead Highway, Vinsula is located about 5 minutes after the Heffley Creek exit. The area following Vinsula is McLure which is a small community of nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. Within the community, is Kamloops’ only river ferry, this small ferry transports vehicles between McLure and the North side of Westsyde.

The properties in this area are mostly small to large acreages with a number of large, custom homes. Within the community one can find a number of off roading, horse back riding and hiking trails.

A popular stop among tourists and local residents, is Carl’s Market Garden & Fruit Stand which sells in season fruit and vegetables grown in the area.
